Throughout my second semester of my sophomore year at Trine, I explored photography. I developed my eye for composition, my knowledge of cameras, and my photo editing skills.

Elements
This is the very first photography project I completed. This project was meant to showcase different elements of photography. This was my first time using Adobe Bridge to edit.

Color
During this project I explored ways to use color to create striking images. I began working on my photo editing skills throughout this project. I played around a lot with Adobe Photoshop and their tools used to enhance color.

Composition
This project was the second photography assignment I worked on. Here I began to learn the basics of composition.

Black and White Portrait Series
This project sought to capture people doing things they love. Once I captured them in the moment, I used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge to edit the pictures and make them feel cohesive.

A Little Sliver of Life
This was my final project for my photography class. I took a lot of inspiration from my earlier, "Black and White Portrait Series" and chose to combine creative nonfiction writing with photography.
