A Little Sliver of Life

This project was my final for my photography class. I was inspired by the "Black and White Portrait" series I had done earlier in the semester. I also wanted to incorporate a multimedia element to this project. The most important aspect of this project was to give my subjects a voice. Muriel Mackie and Jason Branch were the only two who decided to write their own pieces. For the rest of them, I communicated back and forth until we landed on a product they were happy with. This project tested my time management skills, photo editing skills, and creative nonfiction writing skills.
