having or revealing an exaggerated 

sense of one's own importance or abilities

The self-absorbed tendency to 

Systematically center yourself

In every instance instinctually 

Possible and probably 

People are prone to pick

And choose choice 

Characteristics and assign

These attributes to arrogance 

To be arrogant is to bolster up and 

Brag about bold achievements.

Boisterous bellowing fellows 

Make for blatantly bedazzled people

To be arrogant is to have faith 

Faithfully believe in faulty fantasies 

About ones sense of self, seemingly 

Turning in too much trust to their abilities 

To be arrogant is to have an opinion 

Optionally opting to provide observations 

Offering them up to offset obtuse

individuals invites in implications 

To be arrogant is to exaggerate 

Enthusiastically and eagerly explaining

Everything, not a moment wasted to use 

Grandiose generalizations to generate narratives 

What do you do,

when you are arrogant? 

When your identity has been chosen 

Labeled automatically as arrogant 

Do you decide to change?

Or is there no hope in trying?

Does the arrogant fellow feel remorse

Does he lay awake at night, hours on end? 

Going through the events of the days,

Regretting what he does and says

Does the arrogant fellow hold his tongue 

To brag is to bend the conversation to your will 

Does he decide to sew his mouth shut?

Keep his beaming banter contained

Does he begin to hold doubt

Question continuously, query the future 

Results of his work, endlessly 

Until he decides not to do it at all

At what point does man 

become arrogant and irritant

At what point does man 

become meek and weak
